Insurance Essentials for Energy Advisors in BC

As the role of Energy Advisors in BC continues to expand — particularly in relation to building code compliance — ensuring proper insurance coverage has never been more important.

This Friday Fix session will focus on helping Energy Advisors better understand the professional insurance coverage required for the work they are doing today. Led by an insurance professional with experience supporting Energy Advisors, the session will cover key considerations around Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance, liability coverage, and on-site protection.

The goal of this session is to support risk mitigation and professionalism across the industry by clarifying common misconceptions, identifying potential coverage gaps, and outlining best practices to help protect both your business and your reputation. This is an educational, non-sales session designed to give Energy Advisors greater confidence that their coverage aligns with their scope of work.
